Using my very first Spider-Man costume [orhadar Ultimate Print], I decided to turn it into the Marvel Zombies version of Spidey.
The suit has been experiencing its wear and tears and after every repair, it just continues to leave me.
SO! I decided to do something different with it and create something really fast for the Halloween season this year.
Taking a zombie mask I found at Wal-Mart....
I cut a hole into my TJack lense to expose the zombie skin and eye. Then I put the zombie mask on and pulled the costume mask over it. With proper placement I cut right at the nose of the suit and followed along the right side, to expose the mouth of the mask.
Then I also bought a set of zombie guts to hang out around the side of the stomach.
With the guts, and at the zombie's jaw line, I'm going to add blood at the wounds and all over the costume. I cut into the fingers as well to expose my fingernails that I will be painting greyish to show rotting.
As for the mask, in the earlier picture, you see progression in coloring. I added red to the zombie skin to show rotting flesh and coagulating blood. The blood effect was also run along the teeth, gums and chin to show that the character recently bit into someone.
I also colored the eye to replicate a veins and a bloody eye. The eye might be redone so that the reflection(white) is smaller. I'm debating it. Since these make up effects are also made of a paste like paint, they rub off quite easily. So I'm going to be getting a Spray Adhesive all over the mask in order for the make up to stay permanently.
The best part that I didn't notice about the mask at first, is that it has someone of a hinged jawline, which allows me to move the mouth along with my own!
Putting the mask on after the color job, this is what I got:
More holes will be added with a bit more flesh wounds, and like I said, more blood will be added.
