Anyone have any leads/suggestions for "close enoughs"? Quiksilvers "charing cross" shirt had been suggested but these have all sold out now in smaller sizes.

Last year's run of Shah Safari shirts was a collaborative effort by two BTTF fans. Joe Butch and Charles Bocock (member here as renesisx). Joe initially contacted Shah Safari and convinced them to manufacture the run of t-shirts. They wanted a minimum of 200 pieces to be ordered and a large part of the production cost to be paid upfront. Charles offered to help and agreed to pay over $3000 to cover the initial cost and brought 70 pieces. Joe sold the rest of the quantity. In 2009 both of them initially sold bulk of the t-shirts to the fans on the BTTF.com forum for $45.

Joe offered them on his BTTFBlog, which is currently down. Here is the cached link to the original article.

Charles recently offered them for sale at the We're Going Back event and then also sold few through his ebay account. He has one last XL size shirt left there.

Thanks for the link to the fabric. I was looking for the fabric material about 1/2 a year ago with no luck. I guess I should have just asked in RPF :lol

I found an awesome "close enough" shirt that looks great at a Good Will. $2.50!!

I found a Seidensticker shirt from my father some time ago, very near but blue instead of black. It works for me as long as I do not have to spend some 170 for an accurate...

I just registered to show you all this shirt that I found on eBay today. I think the shirt pattern looks very close to Marty's, the only problem is that it's long sleeved. I'll be buying one and changing the sleeves though.

I have a couple of the Shah Safari made shirts left. I just moved house and found a couple that were put aside for people who never went through. I can't let them go cheap though - the last 2 I sold went for $195 and $175 :|

I'll look tonight and see what was left. I think there are maybe 3 shirts total.
