I'd gone past Pima Air Museum a few times over the years, but always when it was closed or when I was doing something with Uncle Sam and didn't have the time. I finally got out there with my wife's brother in law during a trip to see the in-laws on Phoenix last week.
I'm not posting the airplane photos here as I thought some here would fine this display especially interesting. They claimed this was the uniform worn by Martin Sheen in "Apocalypse Now" but I have no idea:
Frankly, I don't think it is. The camo pattern on the top doesn't match and the helmet straps aren't OD green as they are in the still from the movie I found:
