Great pics, Neo. Glad to see 'em. (Also pretty neat to see pics of the Horusbot, Holodeck Arch, rings, and Ark, too.) But I am kinda bummed I forgot to arrange for a mysterious disappearance of your Obi-Wan lightsaber.
It was great to see those of you who could make it. Weather didn't really wanna make it easy for anyone to get there. Rook, that was one long ride through some not so ideal travel conditions. And I hope that the drool didn't rust up your Pulse Rifle too much.
Mike and I've talked a little about what we want to do for next year, if we do wind up doing it again. It seemed to be pretty well liked by those who saw it. Friday was a little slow because it was Friday, and we had loads of snow and ice. Saturday was better, but since it was a new room and not on a main level, we weren't as packed as some of the other rooms. Next year we may have another room, or a larger room. Or maybe not; time will tell.
The con was really great, as it always is. Got to talk with Don S. Davis (really, really neat guy) and Patricia Tallman (hot, hot gal, but also a real sweetie). I got to hear a little of their talks, and I wish I could have heard more. They had great stories. Great guests, great parties, great props. What more could you want?
We're expecting to have at least one MN prop party this year (anyone for two or more? Heh, heh.). Hopefully we can come up with some new ideas and improvements for next year. Also, there was some talk of maybe some build parties, so we could all have some more new stuff in the room next year.

There are some pics of Marscon posted below. Some neat pics of the Propatorium, plus a bunch of pics of how they built the Stargate for main stage. Ben, who's site this is, designed and built the gate. It's a bunch of vacuum formed pieces attached to a styrofoam core. Looked pretty darn neat. Probably was a pain to put together, though.
