Hey man, if you bought that from amazon, you should contact customer support about it. If you haven't gotten your item for more than 1 month you should ask for a refund and buy Wanhao i3 (pretty sure they are like the same printer) instead.

Yeah I will do this

I bought the helmet hinge kit from the same guy that did the repulsor. He used back light displays which you can see through with the lights on, so I didn't need to have a gap.

Just finished the boots and calves.
Only peice left now is the thigh and fingers. Plan on using s knee brace/hinge to attach my thigh and calve together so the 2 peices will stay aligned when I walk.

Holy moly. How do you get your pieces printed and smoothed and painted so quickly? Mine seem to take an age to get anywhere.

Will do. Still needs a little work in the helmet before I post.

My last two peices in the finishing stages. No more printing left. :)

What sort of sorcery are you using to hold the chest/back parts together?

do you have anything holding the biceps to the main part of the armor or do they just stay up?

I basically am using the technique a few posts back with the magnet rings and button and a small peice of Velcro for saftey. They hold together like a charm and keep everything aligned really well.

As requested. Haven't tightened up the wires yet. I plan on coating the inside with a little padding as well.

It annoys me every time I check this thread and no one posts. I am like "I can't be the only one with enough time on their hands to get impatient after a day!"

just finished the first thigh. Man that was a tough peice to get smooth. It took two and half days to knock one out. Tomorrow I should have the second one complete as well. Then hopefully will clean up the electronics and do some fitting touches to make things comfortable.

Looking amazing! I also got the helmet servo kit from the ebay guys, and made my own hinge design based on their Y bracket concept. I made a small printable bracket that fits their board if you are interested, it's just a frame at the moment. I haven't worked up a cover for it yet.

I think I have mine installed pretty good. I used their hinge that came with it. However the mask for reason won't stay up. It goes up and then sorta falls as if the weight of it pushes the servos down. I'm guessing it's just a adjustment I haven't figured out yet?

Here's the assemble all together. Just need to finish lights this weekend and some minor fit adjustments (e.g shin and thigh) and can almost call it a wrap. But will post some wear photos/videos and a picture of it with Stan Lee. :)
