Mario Themed Nerf Longshot

Was going to put this into the Nerf thread but there was some extra building that might be of interest to others. As my first solo post, i thought i'd share my first actual, grown up, paid commission! The client wanted a 'game' themed Nerf paint and not being much of a gamer myself i went straight to what i knew, older stuff. Always after feedback so let loose and thanks.




So then i had the idea of using different clips as 'powerups'... out came the sculpy!


THEN i was all, 'these are going to need something to go in now'. So out came the MDF, styrene and felt.


So there you have it. I'm pretty pleased with the final result and the client was over the moon. hopefully this is the start of something bigger
