Mandalorian IB-94 blaster build

Here is my blasterfactory aluminum Mando Blaster.

The blaster is painted flat black (couldn't get a good finish with aluminum black), and I flame blued anything steel.
























It also has a proffie v2.2 board, 13350 battery, 20mm speaker, single accent pixel and large 20 pixel ring for muzzle flash.

The battery is in the grip, I used a cnc to open up the frame and make recesses in each grip panel. Its pretty tight. I also used a cnc to make the wire paths and opening the frame for the proffie chassis. I designed a switch holder and the chassis and 3d printed them.

The small speaker sounds pretty good imo. Not very basey, but that's to be expected. It sounds better with the side panel on rather than off.

Was the chip, sound and lights part of the 'kit" or entirely custom?

It was not part of the metal blaster kit. I planned it out the electronics and did it my self. The kit is considered static display, I suppose.

I am pretty fond of and active in the proffie board install community, as it were. The sound board, as its called, is pretty capable of almost anything. I have done many lightsabers, and a few blasters. I also have a tricorder using a proffie board in the works.

I order my electronic parts from thesaberarmory, or saberbay. Lots of cool led options. I then use fusion to design the chassis (the holder of the electronics) for them. Its a fun hobby! I think blasters are my favorite!

My Mando blaster is a (the) toy conversion. Beyond my meager painting skills, its still just a toy...
