Man of Steel - ZOD Shackle restraints **UPDATE --SCREEN MATCHED!!**

Hey Guys,
I picked up a few items at the weekend other than the Blade fangs and will post as and when I get decent pics. This is a production made shackle restraint as worn by Zod and his crew in the 2013 reboot, Man of Steel. I will attempt to screen match once they arrive and update this post then.



**UPDATE**

So... the piece that I bought finally arrived and I sat down with the blu-ray to try and get a screen match. It became clear that the original pictures I'd had of the piece were in the wrong orientation and what I thought was the front was actually the back!! The other issue was that the ZOD restraint had 2 knuckles or connections before the cuff and mine only had 1. I widened the search to the other bad guys and found the piece immediately! The restraint I have is the one worn by ZODs bad ass right hand lady "Faora-Ul" played by Antje Traue! Although not the ZOD restraint I'd thought, this piece is unique in that its the only one out of the group that can be singled out due to the 1 knuckle design. The piece also screen matches on about 6 places too!! The only difference now is that the display I put together for it will have boobs!! Lol....

This is the restraint set on a mannequin to show the piece in its correct orientation. It really shows just how detailed the production went with these. Every piece is individual and the whole set moves and conforms with the body shape of the wearer.

I think you misunderstand the meaning of screen matched. Screen matched means its the actual piece in that frame of film. This is done by matching individual scratches, blemishes and paint marks.

Like I said in my original post, the set screen matches in atleast 6 places. There are nicks and sculpted shapes all over the noose and chest piece that are identicle and I'll post a pic when I can get a decent screen dump.
