Man of Steel Suit Build?

Has anyone here started building a Man of Steel suit?

I've seen the huge discussion thread with opinions, photoshopping etc, and a second thread with some great references of the Super suit, as well as Jor-El and Faora's suits, but I haven't seen much mention of anyone building a suit (beyond early concept stages at least).

Anyone making any progress out there?

I wouldn't mind trying my hand at it, but I haven't the foggiest as to where to start with textured materials for the bodysuit or anything like that.

But if you're working on one, share your progress/thoughts here?!

I'm making good progress on my MOS suit. The suit was supposed to be more navy but came in more of a traditional blue. I started anyway... building on top of that. I didn't want the headache of trying to go for an exact replica, (tiny paterns in suit, etc) I know nothing about printing pattern costumes anyway. I wanna see this get finished also and not zap all my energy with the smallest of details. Note: It sucks waiting a month for a china delivery, eh.

I hope my overall effect is good. I'm cutting and adding foam pieces and whaterver I find that works really, Hobby Lobby is gold mine.

My kids are going to Baltimore Comic-Con as Superman and Zod. I bought blank Blue and Black Zentai suits, that will get modified. I am also just free-handing a pattern with puff paints on their stuff. This is where I started. Sorry in advance for the crappy camera phone picture.
