I believe that is part of the national firearms museum's big display of movie guns. They have a ton of cool stuff on display right now.

I already addressed this with the author of the article here:

Basically, he wrote the article based on the info he was supplied by the pistol's current owner.

"Allied Effects" isnt the current owner of either of the two hero live fire Mal pistols. Im sure he meant "Applied Effects" which is also not the current owner. Those poor guns are shrouded in inaccurate public information regardless of how well meaning the writer is.

I'd love to go see the museum display if it's still up. Funny that the NRA has firefly fans in their ranks. Just never saw those two together.
