Making a StA-52 from a airsoft FAMAS any ideas?

I am making a StA-52 Light Assault rifle (from the game Killzone 1, I personally like it better than the Killzone 2 and 3 model) I am making out of a airsoft "the foreign legion FAMAS" spring rifle

Can anybody please give any tips or help before I do start production?

How much experience have you had? Looks like a lot of custom parts with lots of angles. But start with blueprints and scale it to 1/1.

i have a sliced pepakura file you could use if it would help in any way
