Majora's Mask

Thanks for the kind words guys, I'm flattered that you all like the build.

Also every time I see them, I can't help but think the pupils are little green cheerios. c:
Or evil fruit loops maybe lol.

Also it has been asked if I was going to do a run of these. Since I now have the ability to post in the junkyard I am going to put up a post over there about doing just that. However I'm going to get the longer horns for the bottom and straight ones for the top done first. I'll be finishing those up this week, pics to come shortly. Again thanks for the compliments and motivation everyone.

It's looking great. the new colors for the paint look near spot on it. I think a nice clear coat will make the mask really pop. :thumbsup

Very impressive looking. Your overall symmetry for the mask as well as paint is really great. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled in the junkyard.

Anyone else feel as though the eyes in that last picture posted, it feels as though it's looking right through me...... :confused

Progress!

I'm calling this first batch the prototypes I'm not going to change the horns on the four I have now. Since I made all the horns of the original small size I'm not going to waste them. So here is where they are at now. The cheek detail is done as well as the horn resprays.

Also I did gloss coat the very first mask, here it is. It's also in some previous posts. I think I prefer the flat finish it looks older to me that way for some reason.

Hey there ;)

I've been looking at your pictures, how you build the Majora's mask.
I must say, this is one of the best things I've ever seen. Mainly because
I'm a huge Legend of Zelda fan and second because I always wanted something
from the game that I can hold myself :)

Now I know that this is my first post here, but I'd like to know if you're
willing to sell one of your masks.
(the final outsame with the colored horns and all, the last picture of yours)

If so, I'd prefer some information about the costs, etc.

You can contact me on facebook: https://www.facebook.com/jos.vanweesel
or email me: dirtyflow@live.nl
and I will keep an eye on this thread for future posts :)

Last of all I want to say you did a wonderful job on making the mask, it's
absolutely brilliant!

Thanks in advance,

Exoticz ;)

PS. Could you also send me a picture of the final version without the gloss coat, and one picture with the gloss coat? thanks!
(It looks much better without, but you haven't shown us a picture where you can see the whole
mask with the gloss coat)

Hey Jester5891!

I love your work it's amazing. Would you buy any chance be making more of them to sell? Because I'd be pSYCHED to buy one. The detail is amazing and especially the eyes! With the grooves in the iris and the wooden texture.. But yeah! Keep up the good work!

For the horns, here are some links, which might help with your colouring:

But you've stopped posting :I

If you make any more of them, could you also contact me? I'd like to buy one too :)
And...if you can't be bothered painting them, would you sell the cast? Cos that'd be easy for you right?

You can find me here: jozlyn_lay@hotmail.com

Thanks!
