Okay kiddos! So any Zelda fan who looks at this thread is probably already aware that Majora's Mask is getting a remake for the 3ds! I had actually been planning on building this for a while, and a while back I started on one using the trophy model ripped from smash bros Melee, but after learning about the remake I knew there was going to be a heavy interest in this mask so I decided to give up on the old one and start new. Recetly I have been getting into 3d modelling and I made a few tweaks to the original model so that it would be slightly thicker and so that the eyes would not be as bulgy. My goal is to finish this by the end of the month and to get some affordable raw casts up on Etsy.(which means I probably won't be giving the file away anytime soon...Sorry)
So far I have pepped resined and rondoed the whole thing. I also started grinding down some of the sharp edges from the pep file to prepare for the bondo work.
Here's a comparison to the old one I made. The old one might look better now, but that will change very soon.
