Magnoli Prototype 'Adventure Jacket'

I just received the prototype of Indy Magnoli's 'Adventure Jacket':

It's well made from excellent quality leather and the jacket has been tailored to my size and requirements perfectly.

The colour of the leather is comparable to the authentic brown lambskins I've owned from Wested in the past, however the tone is a just little darker and redder.

I love the cut of the collar, the 'action pleats' and the pocket placement, using Agent5's screen accurate specs.

As this is a prototype, the arms on this jacket are three piece rather than two piece construction (athought the join is quite subtle at the rear of the elbow). Aside from that small point, I think everything else is nigh-on perfect.

I'm really happy with this jacket and would recommend Indy's custom jacket work to anyone. :thumbsup

Thanks for the pics. Looks great. It's nice to have another option. Healthy competition is a good thing.

I keep my mouth shut over at COW but there are some things about my Wested that irritate me. This (Magnoli) version has perfect sleeves in circumference and length, a big irritant on mine and the collar is spot on (unlike mine). Nice points on both. For a prototype this is a great start. :thumbsup Way to go IM. Dr.J, I agree that competition is good for all. Keeps the vendors form getting lazy and gives us (customers) choices.

Not worth suffering WWIII for a few comments about a leather jacket... :lol

But yeah - Magnoli's perfectionism shines through with this, and although I have loved my Wested's over the years - this jacket is pretty special and my fave Indy jacket to date. :thumbsup
