Of course, lots of games back for the home computers around '88-'92 were heavily influenced by Mad Max. I remember a car-driving game called Overlander.
It kind of reminds me of Fall Out but I think Fall Out took inspiration from the Mad Max films
I can't help but think this is going to be like the new Tomb Raider mixed with Twisted Metal. My biggest worry about this is that it'll get boring really fast. I get that a lot with games that are open-world; there just comes a point where it's not 'challenging' anymore and I'm just repeating everything I did earlier in the game, again.
I'm hoping it's good, and the chases are immersive, but I can't help see what I see.
That would be really cool. This and MGSV are my most anticipated games of the year. I love me some car combat, let's just hope you can have a dog companion as well. The Magnum Opus is an interesting concept. I wouldn't be surprised to see kitbashed models of many Magnus Opuses, made by the users who recreated their in-game vehicle in 1/24 scale.
That game actually was "Wasteland" which lead to the fallout series.Actually, I read somewhere that Bethesda Software were originally developing this game, but the license fell through and the game was brought to another company after that.
