Mad Max Furiosa

Such as don’t be a warlord and be a benevolent leader. XD

Auntie Entity wasn't too bad a role model given the circumstance. How she built all that would be interesting. Though I expect brutality met with brutality would be at least be an unavoidable founding step. Curious what happened to Barter Town after losing Master.

Well, seeing that Master was the only one who knew how to convert pig crap to methane gas, Barter Town ended up folding because it didn't have the electricity it needed anymore.

Exactly, but she was pretty smart and resourceful, and still clearly had some followers. Like to think she figured something out.

She repaired Bartertown and life went on. Bartertown is featured in my correction of Miller's Universe.

In the comic prequel following Max, he went back to Bartertown in order to participate in Thunderdome again to get a V8 engine for the Interceptor he was rebuilding (the one featured in the film). But after a certain point it might have finally shuttered up.

Okay. I honestly haven't read the comic, just going from what I've read about it online.

It's okay, but it literally ends at the end of Thunderdome and then jumps to not long before Fury Road and Mel Gibson has become Tom Hardy. It does explain the girl Max Jr. keeps having flashes of during the Furiosa movie called Fury Road with supporting character Max.

In a way I sorta feel like 'Thunderdome' should still be the final movie in the series.

The old 3 movies were curving a storyline that descended into post-apoc hell and then eventually started climbing back towards humanity. The two new movies belong more at the low point ('Road Warrior') than after 'Thunderdome'.

In the game, Max is rebuilding the Interceptor, and he needs to find a V8 engine which he does by way of a prize for winning a Death Race in Gastown. First, he has to win the race. Then he has to fight in Thunderdome.

I am not into games or comics. I just read it to see if they explain what happened.

So the game and comic completely contradict each other.

Ugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The game is pretty decent from what I’ve played so far myself.

I thought it was a great game. Graphics, game play, voice acting, story. Very underrated. There wasn't much buzz around it when it released. The main criticism was that it was repetitive with all the scavenging and yeah, that's fair. But if you're a Mad Max fan, just driving around to scavenge and take out random badlanders is what a Mad Max game should be about.

Just a heads up...I'm not sure if it matters to you but the only way to unlock the screen accurate Interceptor & Max skin is by finishing the main story. A lot of players complained about 100 "percenting" the game, getting the car and skin, and then having nothing left to do. So, if it matters to you, don't 100% the game before unlocking them

I like that he still has his knee brace. For some reason it's gone in Thunderdome, which makes no sense as it's the pin in his knee, which got completely blown out in the first film. You don't go from a metal pin going through your knee hooked to an external metal brace, to an ace bandage.

You do when you've got a major actor who's sick of something on his leg, or even just a wardrobe department that doesn't want to deal with it anymore. Or a script writer that doesn't want to deal with the "getting his knee brace from the prison guard" scene three times a movie.

It's pretty common for things like that to develop over time, to become less of a filming obstacle.

This is a video game though, so polygons are polygons, they don't have to worry about the practicality of real world props.

I agree. I am guessing Mel Gibson said no to the brace as a condition. The thing is Max can't run very well in Road Warrior. It adds to his character as a damaged, reluctant hero. Then in Thunderdome he is sprinting full speed in numerous scenes. They do carrier over his damaged eye from the Interceptor crash in Thunderdome, but the knee has healed.

Miller probably just didn't think the knee brace was all that important by the 3rd movie.

I'm sure the costume department could have rigged up one that didn't cause running trouble.

What is sad about this whole thig is how awesome this could have been. Max (Mel Gibson) in Fury Road. More the center of the movie with Furiosa as a supporting character. Then spin Charlize Theron onto her own movie taking place AFTER Fury Road. Enough with the prequals already. All they due is screw stuff up.

Plus replacing her was really dumb. No Charlize, who was awesome as always, no Max.:mad: (n) Hard to believe it was not a hit.

"People really loved Charlize in our movie, lets ditch her in a spin off about her. Yeah, that is a good idea." says George Miller.

Could you imagine Chris Hemsworth against Mel Gibson Max and or Charlize. It would have been awesome.(y):love:

Bring on my personal AI movie modifying computer so I can go and fix everything I hate in my movies.

I agree it would have been easy to do. I also hate Bruce Spence being in it as a different character as well. As much as I love him, he should not have been cast. Max's knee brace should have still been on, and another actor playing the pilot.

I will fix these someday with my AI movie fixing machine.
