dang auto correct, its title is suppose to be doof warrior...lol
wife and i wanted to put together a costume that we can do together at cons and came up with mad max/doof warrior from fury road. tons of pics were gathered and printed and put into a binder for reference and the build started. the guitar was the most time consuming but tried to make it was screen accurate as we could, it even has a speaker and mp3 sound board with 3 door guitar tracks that can be played through guitar. the bullets, magazines are cast from real items since most cons frown upon real items.
i followed madmaxcostumes build on the south african battle vest build and wanted to give a shout out to them for putting a cool site together. build time was about 3 months for both costumes.
we have had fun doing these characters at cons and just wearing them around town too lol. thanks for looking, yea native american mad max, or as i call it, fat max. lol (have not cut sleeve off yet, i know...lol)
