I have finally finished my Pulse Rifle it has taken around 5 years and about £1500 to get here but its done!
it features:
HCG shrouds
airsoft Thompson
airsoft Remington
Real Spas 12 cage
Majenko electronics
It has to have been the hardest prop i have ever worked on the hours and frustration of building it have been huge. But its my holygrail of props alongside the Lawgiver so it had to be as good as i could get it :)
Thanks for the help and advise i have recieved from the forum over the years i could not have dont it without you all!

Very nice indeed. This has that SOLID look.

I am going to build this prop also, and was going to use as many actual firearm parts as possible for the build.

Very good work. Congrats!

Definately solid its picking it up thats the hard part it weighs a ton :)
Good luck with your build if i had been in USA i would have used the actual guns in mine but needs must :(

Looks great.but I'm confused .If you put an air soft Thomson and an air soft shotgun in there.why is there lights and sound.did you gut the air soft weapons?

I am also headed this way so I would love to know how you got all that in there. I am assuming the airsoft shotgun is non-functional, but still…

Beautiful work and I am green with envy!

All I have is a bunch of airsoft guns and a big box of parts!

Hi i was torn between space and having a bb gun so i went for electronics and space so that i could house the batteries in the magazine so it works like the movie version when you push the mag in the electronics fire up and you get the nice clunk as it goes in the remington shotgun no way would ii have had the space for the airsoft parts but it has the really nice cocking sound when you pull the grenade luncher.
The weird thing about this prop is its a huge gun but there is absolutely no space to put anything as it was built so tight around the guns.
I can focus on some of the other projects i need to finish now like my 2 foot stormtrooper lol!!!

This sounds like the route I want to go. I may ask you a few questions as I get to mine if that's OK?

That's my Holy G as well! It looks incredible and I love the lighting for the "muzzle flash" :) One question I did have was, can the firing sound be made to get really loud? I would want it to be capable of being REALLY loud to replicate a "real" pulse rifle. (Maybe that would be viewed as a safety hazard, but so are road-legal motorcycles that go 210 MPH. We love the idea that we COULD go that fast (or be that loud), we just don't DO it, right? hehe)

Anyways, great looking build and let me know if you'd ever consider having it weathered up a bit!

Hi if you could find a small enough amp with enough power and a small speaker with the bass it can be done but the main problem is fitting it in i had to sacrifice part of the remington to get my speaker in it really needs a cone attaching to give it some ooomph.
As for weathering i like the just out of the factory look :)

could you tell me what kinda airsoft Remington you put in there.did a small net search and nothing looked right...

Looks great. What did you use for the speaker? Where did you finally mount it? I'm thinking of mounting mine in shroud, right above the barrel.

I was wondering the same thing as Robiwon when I watched the video....but yeah the PR's are the holygrail prop, congrats on finishing an awesome prop

Hi thanks for the compliments ;) the speaker (chinese mp3 replacement speakers) is in the spas cage the shrouds especially the metal ones are too tight to fit much i did manage to fit the preamp in the shrouds just next too the barrel. The good thing about the metal shrouds as well is i was able to use the body as ground so i ony hade to have poistive wires going to the battery same with the one of the retractable connection pins on one half of the body which i spent ages trying to find something suitable this is what i used: P/N DO03 SPRING LOADED SLIDING DOOR LOCATING SPRUNG PIN | eBay

actually you can see the speaker in the spas cage on the photo :)
