Lukes Landspeeder referance pix

Went down to the Star Wars exibit yesterday thats running at COSI here in Columbus. :thumbsup
I got pix of the full size and scale model from just about every angle I could reach :D
Wish I'd had a ruler with me. The model really is quite large. :eek
I think the dome on R2 is a L'eggs half.

No prob. :)
All those swoop's and curves would do nothing but make me Bug Nuts.
So I won't be attempting it myself. But should someone kit it or if MR
takes it on... well, I really don't need my living room furnature all that much :lol

Well I have my first fiasquo with this project so far.

I sculpted some hair on my Six Million Dollar man using scuplty clay. Naturally the clay needs to be heated/baked.

Well to make a long story short, I was not watching the head and it deformed as the plastic melted to the heat.

I would have to say that ILM must have removed the head to bake it with a sharp eye on it, or else they used a hair dryer or heatgun to "bake" the clay. With all the glue residue that appears in the photos, it does look like they may have indeed removed his head and glued it back on...or they sculpted the hair, and molded and cast a completly new head.
