The biggest problem, IMO, is that there is no Luke saber in TFA. There's a Luke ROTJ-hero-like saber on a table in a random video segment about props - which may be some random thing the prop guys have in their shop that never makes it into any movie. I'd defer to Officer Barbrady on this one "move along, nothing to see here."

If it was in his hut, but not within the point-of-view of the film observer, was it not still there? J/k. Honestly, if it was made for the movie, and its place on that table suggests as much, that's good enough for me even if it didn't get screen time.

I took some shots of my sabers today that I wanted to share with you guys. I did add some more paint to the new V2 and added a Wannawanga.com D-ring. Hope you guys dig it! Keep the pictures coming! I love seeing other peoples work.

Thank you. I really didn't. I did use some moly resin paint, it sticks like crazy!!

my bore hole was so far off center a lathe could not easly fix it, so I ditched the bearing and just used the collar in it's place

I finally had some time to work on this baby. I got the pommel & main body sanded, so they now seat nicely together (I didn't want any pommel spin). Next to be tackled will be the bearing & rod fitting. Pardon the cell phone pictures, but here is a loose fitting so far.
