you know i remember hearing about this show! is it going to be on tv? or is it a netflix series? im super excited to know we are probably going to get even more of this saber now!!

I'm still waiting for clearer images of this or get it verified by people who've seen this. Unfortunately, it can't be spotted in the Comic-Con HQ clip.

Yes it can. Here is a photo from the presentation. You can see the same set screw hole if you freeze the new video at 0.23 and 1.03.

edit: got them both attached now.

Their Facebook page says it's streaming on a site called Comic-Con HQ. It looks like you have to become a member of to see all episodes... this is the first I've heard of this site.
One way or another I'm watching this episode. I'll sign-up just to watch it if I have to. I need more V2!

Starkiller should consider doing another run with a slightly revisited design matching uneven rings pattern, doing booster a bit shorter and other small details that this video shows.
i will be the first getting one!

This was they very photo I was looking for. It may be a set screw but I can't be certain myself. Just looking at this and comparing it to the screencaps here, matching the remaining paint chips best I can and in relation to that big lip/dent, I can't say for certain if I see anything at all other than paint chips.:unsure

For the most part, he did! Even though it's a unibody, he captured most of these details. Uneven ribs and all. Only missing a couple of set screw holes, but that can be taken care of with my drill press.

I mentioned it above, however this looks just like the photo Chaïm shared on his hero build. Looks like the same exact spot.

I have the V2 2nd run 3 parts saber that is identical to the unibody.
Believe me, with a shorter booster and the uneven rings better matched would be the PERFECT V2.
hopefuly someday!

I added a different screen cap now back in my post on the previous page.

Again, I can't say for sure what it is, it very well could be a set screw. What gets me (I too was doing screencapping) is the chip underneath it. For this instance, let's call it the "Japan" chip, because it kinda resembles the country, the supposed set screw sits above the arc closest to the step underneath the emitter face. If it is there, it looks closer to sit to the right of the set screw in the nipple above it (in the third picture, it shows what I mean) and in the pictures before it, there are also other paint chips on this step. In the last screencap I took, and indeed in your screen cap too, it looks like its orientation changes.

I can't help but think that light and focal length of the lens could be washing some of these details. Even in the SWCA photo, the one with the set screw "showing", is highly contrasted and washed out some details that we know to be there, even though they are darker than the surrounding metal. Of course, these are just ideas of my own. I don't know how these things are built despite some saying otherwise, but I can't validate them, nor have I read anything else that can validate them, so I have to take things at face value (and with a bit of salt).

If the nipple is a truly separate piece and the locks into the emitter via set screws, I won't dispute that, but placement of these set screws is what I'm waiting for more sure answers to. As of now, I can't go off of these things alone.
