Just starting a clamp and lever. Still got to finish the lever, but i also saw it as hollow.

Thanks. It is not fudged yet. Still have to sort the clamp lever out, and square nut on the other side.

The topfront of the lever before the bolts looks more like this \___/ only 180º turned ... sorry I'm off to bed soon so I can't draw on the photo I posted to elaborate ... and the lever curves more towards the end and also seems more round and less 'square' ... if that makes any sense ... :wacko

Makes perfect sense. I know the lever has to be round at the back end, and still playing with it, but not until tomorrow now. Had enough for tonight.

Hey, late to the party by a bit, I was there at Celebration, but didn't see this!
I'm game to make a new run of clampcards, unless someone else is going for it. I'd love to take a crack at it.

I would mess up the paint in the grip rings a smidge too? The "booster" section under the clamp looks pretty solid, though I'd remove more black, personally.
Slothfurnace, I'd be very happy if you did clampcards for this.

Wow, if I do the body, slothfurnace does the cards, Roman does the clamps, and someone else does the levers, this will have all the makings of an old school RPF active project.

I'd love to do a set of these, I just don't want to step on anyone's toes.
I figure once I get a good design, it'd take 3 weeks tops to get a set of say, 50? I have no idea how many we'd need...
However, instead of like last time where I just say "Hey here's my version of the clampcard" why don't I make a design, and submit it to you guys for feedback before we go ahead with production at the manufacturer?
Just tell me what you guys would like to do. I am game for whatever.
That sounds good. I think I'll probably do 30 of these, but there's a lot of other v2 lightsabers out there that I'm sure people will now want to upgrade. I'm sure everyone with a Russ v2 will want a new card from you.
Do you think we need to bother with the other side of the card? I suppose I could do a "one card fits all" with the luke ESB traces on one side, and the new V2 traces on the other.
