Don't know if this was directed at me or not, but either way: I truly didn't mean to sound like I was dumping on him. I apologize if I did. What's happened to him sounds awful and I truly hope he feels better and 100% agree that on the list of priorities right now, a lightsaber run shouldn't even make the top 20.

Hey guys.

So, I has surgery last week and I got my nose cast off yesterday. If anyone wants a visual of what happened, picture a cross between Rocky in RockyIII shouting "Aint So Bad!!!" as he gets repeatedly punched by Clubber Lang and Superman from Superman II trying to fight someone withouout his powers and getting his ass handed to him.

This was me on day 1 and the swelling got worse from then on :lol

But, it's all straightened out. All I need to do now is not bump into anything for the next six week or so and I should be OK.

To answer Aison's question, for the second run, there will be an entirely new sign up list. There are just too many people who indicated interest somewhere along the way for me to try to track down everyone and make a list. Better to start from scratch.

My work is starting up again (I'm a teacher) so this might slow down response time a little bit. But here's what I'm planning.

From the 1st run, I have about 10 saber kits left over. Next week I plan to list them in the junkyard on a first come first serve basis. A pic will go up with a price, and whoever speak up first will get it and it will ship that week. These are on hand and ready to go.

Once I have moved this stock, I will post in this forum (probably 2 or 3 weeks from now) a sign up list for a second run. The second run sabers might be a bit more in price as I'm currently trying to get quotes form other shops, to avoid the problems I had with the last one. I'll have this info when the sign up list pops up. The sign up list will stay up for a week, and then will close so that machining can start.

After this second run of v2s is done, I'll move onto another lightsaber project for the winter. This will either be a Luke ISYHCANL/YUMA saber run, or a ROTS Anakin/OWK dueling stunt saber set. (So, if you feel strongly about either of these projects moving forward first, let me know.

Would this be the same ISYHCANL/YUMA run you did a few years ago?

Pretty much. I might make some small changes like narrow the emitter hole a littlle bit. I might also have the pommel and lightsaber body be machined as all one piece. But overall the dimensions would be the same.
