Luke ROTJ poster hybird saber

Has anyone made one of these ? It's the poster illustration with a graflex style bottom with Luke's jedi saber top

got a pic? Only variant I've seen is one that has horizontal ribs all the way down the handle.

That's not a Graflex bottom. It's the correct ROTJ pommel.

I never envision it with a Graflex clamp, I always see it with a straight ROTJ body below the rings with the ROTJ control box moved up to accommodate the grips.

I brought this up years ago on Dewback Wing. I dubbed it the "plate saber", because the artwork appeared on a porcelain plate. Somebody on there made one with spare parts, or photoshopped one up, I don't remember. It looked decent though. I would personally make one with very thin grips, so there's not too much visual weight on the bottom.

If you are trying to replicate the design as seen in the art, then there should not be any bronze/copper on the neck.

Man if I had a lathe...I love it. The shallower grips work much better than straight up t-track.

I know... but I was playing with a saber builder online just to see what could be done.
