Limited Run Luke ROTJ Hero Lightsaber Kit.( Run closed )

All U.S. orders have shipped.
You should have them by saturday or sooner. Some Cali. boys may see them tomorrow.
I am processing international orders now so give me a few days, it is soooo much paperwork.

Did you ship it UPS?

Edit: Nevermind. I got an email from UPS saying they had something scheduled to deliver to me tomorrow, but that was something else I ordered, haha.

terrific and thank you.

So how many builds will be completed by sunday?

First pics of this build in the wild. It just arrived in the mail here in the Los Angeles area. It is beautiful and well worth the wait. I even placed it next to a Roman lightsaber for reference in one shot. I can't wait to paint this and get the accessories applied. Does anyone have any ideas for the internal circuits? Thank you very much for doing this run. I am honored to add this to my collection sir!

Thank you for the kind words sir.
It took a lot more of my time than expected and I think the end result was worth it.

If I order mass produced products from Amazon, I expect and demand that the delivery date be met (since I am a Prime member). I am well aware of the delays that come from smaller one-off custom production runs. Even more so when you have to rely on the work of machinists that also have their own business to run. Throw in the need for revisions while leading a project for hardcore fans that will tear apart every last "imperfection"... As a collector, of course I want it to arrive yesterday when I buy in. I know that well crafted works of art take time and can take longer than expected, so delays are expected. And again, this is well worth it. Now my work productivity will go down today as I start doing my thing to this.

This will be my first Luke ROTJ Hero. I've put together other sabers. I'm curious about the red and green triangles. Do I need to drill holes, or just glue them on the side?

On my arrows I used really strong double sided tape, worked great.
You guys might want to get a scotch brite pad to clean up some of the oxidation on the copper neck part and possible burrs in certain areas.

Yeah... my intention is to polish this puppy up to as near a mirror finish as I can :)

I don't know about shiny and clean. I'm a weathered kind of prop collector. I like the photo anikan Starkiller posted here. It's clean with a hint of weathering. I may finish mine like that
