It’s unfortunately not that simple. It really depends on where in the world at the time the scenes were shot.. harder to take a live fire prop on location. Hence the Hoth blaster for the scenes shot in Norway
So what are the differences between their Norway props and their studio props?

In studio they built on live fire c96’s while in Norway they used an MGC replica Mauser. It’s much harder to take a live fire when traveling. Guns laws and such. Not really sure why each look so different but one thing is for certain.. continuity wasn’t high on the list back in the day when building these props. Here are all the OT and beyond dl-44’s. I designed all these parts up as well but it’s also helpful to see all the varieties and how each fit into the SW universe and where..

So the Han ESB with the missing disc and sharpie flash hider was the MGC-based dummy used on location in Norway, and the Bespin Han is the live-fire and was used for the studio Hoth shots? And just to clarify, when Harrison was using the Norway prop it still had the mystery knob like when Mark used it?
