hey guys, i'm going to attempt to convert my anh saber to esb, i'm going to have a go at cutting the existing grips and putting screws in them as per esb. what i need to know is how far from the bottom of the grip does the notch need to be? and how big is the notch?

thanks guys

I bumped my t-track thread for you. You can find all the specs for the grips there in the first post. :thumbsup

.

well i've just been cutting notches in one of my anh sabers and fitting screws, happy with the result :) saved me spending money on new grips:

If you like it, it's perfect.

At the end of the day, it's your opinion of your props and how accurate you want them that matters.

I think it looks just fine.

thanks guys, it looks good to me so far, and i didnt have to import grips which is a bonus. unfortunately one of the heads on the bolts knackered up when i was fitting it and i only found 6 in my toolbox (and i dont know where they came from!) and now i cant find any to buy anywhere! (3mm x 10mm bolts) :( still looking...

I was under the impression that no one really knew what bolts/screws we actually used. And they may have even been phillips head.

So the rivet theory was disproved? Or is it still speculation? Are we assuming because the Ranch Saber has these screws that that was how the prop was on set?
