Is the main body of the hilt (the aluminum tube) machine brushed or anodized? I'm just curious because I know aluminum is prone to leave black marks on your hands when handled if it's not sealed in some fashion.

The main body and the endcap are made of an aluminum alloy (EN AW 6082). The other two hilts (Obi and Vader) were made of the same material. I have handled these hilts quite a lot and I never experienced any surface corrosion or black hands. But I‘m no expert in metallurgy, maybe somebody with more knowledge chime in?

Maybe I‘m doing some more in the future.

There is a kit for sale in the junkyard currently.

I wish I didn't have to miss the run on this one. It would look so cool next to the Obi Wan Stunt. I'll have to keep watch if you decide to do another run so I can jump on it...
