[Less than Super Ostrich]

My MR repaint:confused... only took about a year and a half to complete. Not that it was all that hard... I blame it on the XBOX 360 and 4 kids. After I took some pics, I realized it still needs a fair bit of detailing to get rid of some of the problem areas. These are Jade Dark Hearts tiles. Thanks JDH! And thanks Mike for the rebel pilot and thanks Jim Botatis for the helmet stickers! Thanks Guy Cowen for the plaque. And thanks Ralphlee for talking with me about it on the message boards... true inspiration.

First it looks great. Second - I know its was probably a PITA to paint all the piping up a nice shiney copper, but... the copper needs to be "dirtied" up a bit. It grabs my eye when it shouldn't because tis too "copper" yaknow... For the record this is a "small" nit-pick its really very good as it sits...

Good point... I put the "copper" piping on afterwards. Frankly, the whole ship could be dirtied up more. Here was another inspiration for my painting/weathering... moffeaten's beauty!
