Hi guys!

I'm about to buy Anduril but I need to know something first. According to United Cutlery the blade is made of 420 stainless steel and according to an Amazon seller the blade is made of AUS-6 stainless steel. Of course that the one I want is from United Cutlery and the seller says that the one he has for sell is from UC. But since I don't know about types of metals I need -please- someone to tell me if AUS-6 stainless steel is the same than 420. You know, to be sure I'll be buying the one from UC and not a copy.

Thank you collectors! :D

Hey, if you have a link to the sale, PM it to me and I'll let you know if it seems legit. I've only ever known the UC version to be advertised with the 420.. never heard of it with AUS-6.. so be cautious! Send me the price and such too, and I'll let you know if it's worth paying that for it. There are several places I know of that still have this in stock and are great sellers to work with for LOTR's swords. Some may be more reliable for you to go through than someone who opens up questions like this sale seems to be doing. Also, if you really love the sword, you may want to consider hunting down the limited edition run that UC did of Anduril (I have the LE myself, and it comes with an amazing gold accented plaque and has gold filled ruins, etc.. one of my favorite items in my collection). Those can be much pricier to find, but they are very nice too. If you ever have LOTR's sword questions, and can't get an answer, pm me, i'll get you and answer asap. :)
