Lord of the Rings Costuming, dropping a bomb

So, my wife just dropped a BOMB on me! She said,

'Hey, why don't you NOT go Star Trek for Halloween this year? Why don't you be Frodo or one of the Lord of the Rings Hobbits?'

I nearly fell over. So, I searched online a bit and nothing great came up as far as making a replica costume. I figure being Frodo would probably the thing to do. I can get a replica Sting sword and scabbard on ebay, thats easy.....

I am going to get a replica ring from the actual ringmaker in New Zealand who made them all for the movies, so I have the Ring and chain for the ring covered.

Anyone have any suggestions or advice on making a good Halloween Lord of the Rings "Hobbit" costume???? All suggestions and expertise or good internet links would be much appreciated!

Thanks friends. This Forum is a blast!!!!!!!!!!

If you go to the Noble collection site, you can get the robe clasp cheap. The actual New Zealand maker of the wool gray cloaks has done a limited licensed set which can also be found on eBay. A tad expensive, about $ 500 for the cloaks, but as authentic as you can get. They also have the scarves available in very limited amounts as well.

www.museumreplicas.com also has some nice sets you can pick up as well.
