Looking for tactical/protective Gloves

Hi everyone,

I am currently working on a "Jim Raynor"-inspired cosplay and for this I need a pair of gloves...

Now I was thinking some kind of military/police kind of protective gloves might work just fine but I have not been able to find anything online. What I found, was either not fingerless or did not protect the cuff / lower arm.
The gloves don't need to be 100% screen accurate but the closer the better.

Does anyone know where I could find gloves like this? (I think T-Dog from Walking Dead was wearing something similar in season 3 but I was not able to identify them).

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Have you looked at this site? It's been a while since I bought anything from them, but they used to design their gloves so that you could cut the fingers off and the glove wouldn't fray.
Yikes, looks like they have also increased their prices...

Yes, I tried that site too but could not find any gloves with extended protection for the lower arm. Some of course have extensions but these seem only to make sure your gloves stay inside the sleeve of an overall. Anyways thanks for pointing out that the fingers might be cut off without fraying! I did not know that.
On the other hand you are right: They are a bit pricey. I had hoped to score some for maybe 30-40$...

Any other suggestions?

I have seen gloves with the forearm protection padding on wiley x's

Have you tried US Cav's Site? Find Military Gloves - U.S. Cavalry There are some similar under the padded/impact and hard knuckle sections. Hatch makes a winter glove that is somewhat similar as well.

Also LA Policegear gloves has some under the Damascus and Uniforce brands.
