Looking for pics and info on Anakin ROTS dueling prop

Hey guys,

I'm looking for information and good reference pictures on the dueling from that Hayden used in ROTS. The one with the thin neck. I've seen a bunch of fuzzy pics from when the film was being made. But, I've never been able to get a good close up shot of this prop and a couple of details elude me. 1st, I'm trying to determine if the grips are different on this prop then they are on the hero. Some pics seem to shop less grips, with more aluminum visible between the grips, and also, I'm wondering If the grips were sunken into the handle, like they did with Sam Jackson's Dueling saber, or if the grip profile was possibly less pronounced, to make swinging it around a bit easier.

Can anyone help with this? Thanks

Dan

Are you talking about this stunt, but chromed?

Also, this is twice i've heard about recessed grips on Jackson's and Hayden's from ATOC, do you have any info on this? (you could pm me so I don't hijack this thread)

There are a couple of pictures in this post. Those are the best images I have found of a full hilt.

Here are a couple of pictures of parts, but I can't tell what is for what:

If I'm not mistaken, those parts in the box might be "inserts" ...adapters for the stunt blades.

and on the second photo, that's a nice shot of Anakin's skinny neck in the back..though only half the saber.

I've seen that video and always wondered whether these were casted and chromed stunts . . . or real metal parts with a rod. Perhaps both depending on the action involved?

It looks to me like the grips have a MUCH lower clearance, they may even be painted on considering Ewan's stunts. Not sure about grip spacing.
