Hey, I'm looking for some opinions from the experienced members of this board.
I have been looking into starting a project that I don't believe anyone has attempted before.
However am not sure about quiet a few things as it's based on an anime character.
The character is Holy Angemon from digimon season one.
I have most of it planned out however need some opinions on what the best materials
would be for a few of the parts.
The first part is his beam sword. "Excalibur" Large pictures so I'm just going to link to them.

Now the first material that comes to mind for me is metal, but would a resin be a better material?
I also wonder what the best material for the two wings on the side would be.
The purple insert and blade can be made of clear, dyed resin.
When it comes to his shield arm I am at a complete loss.
I really don't know what the best material for this would be.
Perhaps the material that most of the mechanical arms are made out of?

Lastly is the helmet, which the majority of I plan to go with a clear dyed resin, then either metal or more resin for the cross part. I would prefer metal but would like to know what other peoples opinion was as well.
