Looking for material - Vent/Grill

Hi There,

I'm looking for a material I can use as a vent/grill for a project I'm working on.
I'd like it to be a horizontal/slit style vent, like the one on the side of the Xbox One:



The pattern its self would need to be pretty small, preferably only about a couple mm between each 'blade'.
If anyone knows where I could get a sheet of either metal or plastic in the pattern, that would be seriously too good

PS: It would specifically need to have gaps in it, as I plan on shining some light through it.

I've never done it myself, but reading up on brass etching, it doesn't seem to hard or expensive. This way your vents would be perfectly customized rather than having something store bough that wouldn't quite fit your measurements.
