Are there any longtime C3PO builders on the board?
I am trying to track down an independent prop maker in the mid 1980's in the Pinewood Studio area. The prop maker apparently had a fiberglass mold for the rear of C3PO's head. The mold was acquired by the prop maker from an auction a year earlier from the EMI studios.
Accoding to a source:
"I started visiting places like Pinewood Studios set department to find props [sic] and on one visit got re-directed on to a local independent set maker (can't remember their name I'm afraid). One of the many items he had in their collection were some bits that he told me that he acquired in an auction that EMI held a year or so earlier"
"He also had the mold for the rear of CP3O's head as well."
I am looking for the name or address of the prop maker or any information about the EMI auction.
