Looking for Abacus Costumes and Props items

Hey cats,

Back in 2011, the costume and prop warehouse I was working with, Abacus Costumes and Props, decided to shutter and we had a huge liquidation.

I know this is a LONG shot, but did anybody here buy anything at that sale or know anyone who did?

In going back through some old pics recently, I found a couple of pieces that I'm trying to track down.

I'm specifically interested in the 3 or 4 blue metallic-looking tunics that appear to be on the far end of this rack purchased by bidder 1887.

More than likely, this stuff has long since been spread to the four winds, but it never hurts to ask

I was there, mostly going after Hitchhiker's Guide stuff... I have since sold off most of the random stuff I didn't want (and I didn't win the two lots you mentioned), so I probably can't help a whole lot... But it was an interesting auction to attend, and one I owe my entire collection of Hitchhiker's Guide stuff to...

Abacus talking about not knowing how to make money or market a massive warehouse full of props and wardrobe .

I tried to buy some props from the matric and headless horseman from them . After that horrible experiance my EXACT words were they will go out of business .

A 5 yr old child could have run that place better. :thumbsdown

If you know the movies they were used in, you might start threads just asking for that... Someone may have them and not have any idea they came from Abacus, so wouldn't even bother checking this thread...
