Looking for a 3D model for the Robocop auto 9

Always wanted an Auto 9, but the gun laws in my country prohibit the import of anything that even vaguely resemble a gun, even if it's a toy.

So the only way would be to scratch build one(like I did so many times already), or have one 3D printed.

If anyone has am Auto 9 file with good details they can share, I'd greatly appreciate it.

You should contact member joatrash here on the forum. He did a run of 3D printed Auto 9 conversion kits a while ago. The kit consisted of 3D printed slide and barrel extension and resin grips for an airsoft M93R. He may still have some kits left.

Pictures belong to another member here that I had saved.

Thanks for the input :)

I know about joatrash's kit, but it'd still require me getting a M93R

And if I could get an M93R, I might as well just get the airsoft Auto 9.

What country you in?

I'm in the UK, With laws similar to as you describe. The only way I could ever get an actual airsoft auto 9 would be if someone within the uk that owned one was prepared to sell it to me. Thats a right needle in a haystack, they are not so prevalent here. However you can legally go into any airsoft shop and buy an M93r.

Thats why I got Joatrash's kit, its amazing. The end result feels and performs like the real thing. I would say you'd struggle to get better anywhere else.

Not to mention the KSC Auto 9 is about as scarce as hens teeth. That's why I put the bug in joatrash's ear to do that run. I just wish I had the money to keep mine at the time, but had to sell it.:cry

There resin copies that pop up on the bay all the time, but those are likely recasts of recasts of recasts!

Malaysia.

Airsoft is strictly illegal here, and they even try to ban paintball some time ago(case still being appealed).

We can get some slightly undersized toy guns like M4, M16, various pistols etc at toy stores and some hobby stores but you can't import any weapon-like item legally, not even solid resin ones. If you do it'll simply never reach you and there's nothing you can do about it. A bunch of people imported several airsoft guns some time ago via courier service and they were all arrested, and had to pay a hefty fine(to the tune of 10 to 20 thousands US$ from what I heard) to avoid jail time.

I see your predicament.

One possibility, if you could get a hold of a kit, would be to build it round a toy gun. The auto 9 in Sin City is built round a Berreta M92 and is practically identical

http://www.imfdb.org/wiki/Sin_City#Beretta_92FS_.28mocked_up_as_Beretta_93R_.22Auto_9.22.29

A hell of a lot of toy automatics are based round this shape. Your big problem would be with how undersized the toy might be. But that might give you something to build on for a scratch build project,

Good luck and keep us posted with any builds, the auto 9 is my fave movie gun,

I know the slide is different on the m9/92 vs the m93r. The basic frame shape is close besides the 93's handle and you can get the m9/92 frame prints or model from cncguns.com .... Then you'd just have to get the slide modeled.
