lokie sceptre/staff help

Hi all, as my mums dressing up as loki for this halloween, she has asked me to make the sceptre.
ive fully pepped it .other then the few mistakes I need to go back over im stuck, what can I cover it in
to give it a movie style finish and make it stronger? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Anyone out there done a sceptre thrpugh pep? Ive looked a few threads for information but theyve all used wood or plastic

So the bondo would work? I wasnt too sure l, with it being quite long and top heavy
that the handle would hold the weight?

It should be able to handle the weight. Apply thin layers and sand to save you trouble.

If the handle portion will be hollow, you'll probably want to fill it with expanding foam or something similar to give it some strength

Do I resin the outside make little cuts and fill with expanding foam for the handle ?

Does anyone have any recommendation on how to do the kind gem? Sorry for being such a noob lol
