Unlimited Run LOKI Helm THOR movie

Re: LOKI Helm

Just posting an update - the helmet has been remastered and there are no longer any seams on the main helmet. As well, the horns are way easier to attach. It's all under rubber right now but once we can get a cast pulled we will post some updated pictures.

Re: LOKI Helm

It stands at around 19" tall. Maybe TJack can confirm this.....
We weren't fans of how the casts came out of the original mold so some things have been changed in V2.0 ;)
One of those things being how the horns are attached. Tjack can you post a picture showing how they go together now?

Yep I measure about 19" as well.

The old helmet had a few seam lines that we removed and it's now a glove mold so there are no seam lines on either the main helmet or the horns. Sorry for the poor iphone pics, I'll get some better ones up when I have the chance.

As well, the old helmet had the lower 4-5" of the horn attached to the helmet which required you to attach the remainder of the horn to it (which was a bit of a challenge). As part of the remaster, we removed that part from the helmet and made the horn 1 piece for easier assembly. The entire horn now sits over the "bump" you can see at the front of the helmet. The horns are foam filled with a resin cap.

To attach the horns you will need to drill a pilot hole in the "bump" then place the horn over the bump to drill the pilot hole into it as well. Then you can apply some epoxy or your adhesive of choice to the bump and inside of the horn then drive a screw from the inside of the helmet into the pilot hole in the horn to secure it in place. You will then need to use some filler to clean up the seam where the horn attaches to the top of the helmet. Hopefully that all makes sense? :)

We will include detailed instructions when purchased.

Awesome, seems a lot easier than the original. What size head will it fit?

Same as the original - you may be able to squeeze a 24" head in it but it will be snug. I can wear it and I'm 23.5 but there isn't much extra room. However, it is resin so with a little heat you can always adjust it for a better fit.

Re: LOKI Helm

Just to revive this here a bit, I've been in contact with Sunkistshark and I will be offering a premium studio-quality finishing service on these helmets for anyone interested.
I'll have a sample helmet to work on hopefully soon so you guys can see what one will look like after It leaves my shop.

Re: LOKI Helm

Hi! Is there any available? I would like one to Singapore, 650402. How much does that cost? Cheers, Richard

They will be after I get back from vacation Aug 10. Shipping to Singapore will vary depending on how soon you want it and if you want tracking/insurance. It can be anywhere from $30 to $150.

Re: LOKI Helm

great! I want one, and I can only receive it mid October, so time wouldn't be an issue. Can I get a quote on this? :)

Re: LOKI Helm

Has Tjack taken care of you already? I see he had given a rough price for shipping...

You talking about a finished one from General Frosty? If so he hasn't quoted the job yet until he gets his hands on one first. Which will be soon.
Finished price would be cool
