Logan's Run Costume - Belt stiffening and Pellet (bullet) Detail

A short time ago there was an authentic Logan's Run Sandman costume up for sale on eBay (Michael York's ) and it had a few pictures.
One of them showed a fair view of the belt:

Not sure how accurate this belt is, but if you are looking to do a replica costume, to me the pellets look to be simple
wooden dowel pins, cut to size and painted silver. There are many sizes and styles to choose from:

This is just an observation on my part however and probably not what was actually used on the real costume back then......

They were beads that was used on the costume but it looks like you have found another source to replicate them

Some time ago, there was a posting giving some insight into the making of the belt and dummy FOLLOWER
mounting details using Velcro on the "face" of the Follower and worn Face in.
After watching the DVD, that seems to be the case.
So I wanted to make my hero Follower (dummy version style) mounted face in as well, using a different approach.
(It seems that the "HERO" version was only seen in extreme close-up and never from a distance)

Also, it indicated the the Belt piping was made using 3/8" tubing with fabric sewn around it and that the 8 detail pieces
were simply pewter beads.
Sometime ago, an original Logan's Run Costume was being sold at auction and it showed a fair view of the belt details.
They looked to me to be "spiral style" wooded dowels painted silver.
I know that wasn't the case, but it was good enough for me, so I 3D printed 8 Silk Silver PLA dowels for use as the
8 "bullet" details.

I am also using (2) 2" belt straps (cut to length) for the main belt.

On many of the replica belts, the bullets look way too long and thin and the piping looks to have a way to thick
diameter (more like 1/2"). It almost makes the belt look like a life preserver.

I still have a small amount to do on my belt to attach it around my waist and stiffening.
The 8 pellet detail pieces turned out really well and go good with my rendition of the belt.

I made a second version of the belt pellet detail.
The first had a gradual increase in the spiral and the second has a more sharper increase.

These are cast from original belt details for the Logan's Run Belt. I also have lifeclocks and ANKH to go with it.
