Calling all Ghostbusters geeks in the NYC area! Just saw this in the Voice:
"Are you a crazy Keymaster? Maybe more of a sultry Gatekeeper? Either way, the Minions of Gozer have a job for you. In the spirit of many a Rocky Horror Show, this shadow cast troupe (“Stepping on Churches Since 1984”) brings a cult-grade enthusiasm to Ghostbusters, that weirdest of big-budget pictures we all love so well. In true midnight-movie fashion, the cast of 16—and Slimer—enact the film live, every detail in sync from Dan Aykroyd’s dangling cigarette to Sigourney Weaver’s ’80s ’fro. But that’s not all. The Minions often take it a step further to show us what went on behind the scenes. An undersea sponge migration? Louis Tully’s workout plan? The true anatomy of a giant Twinkie? There’s so much we never knew. Go prepared for an interactive experience and maybe a dousing with ectoplasmic goo. Whatever happens, stay puft."
