Live action star wars TV series

That's the same stuff I have heard. Several months ago, someone who claimed to be good friend of Daniel Logan's told me that it was essentially going to be "his series." Focusing on Boba Fett growing up and turning into the Boba Fett we nearly knew in the original Star Wars films.
His recent appearance in the Clone Wars would seem to support this as he popped in, interacted with some of the characters and escaped with several pirates and Slave 1.

We'll see, I just hope it's good.

oh wait... so what we've had so far is only half of the first season? damn it's confusing now that we're getting shows here in the UK that have to follow the US model of splitting seasons into 2. So there's still half a season to go then... is that definite? or could the second half os season 1 not get shown too?

It'd be a massive shame if they pulled it, The quality of production (& acting, music, set design etc), and the intensity of the stories is just incredible. Above BSG if anything.

At CIII George mentioned "Now we know where to get our droids for the television series." when he came through the R2 Builders room.
That was back in 2005.

"Lucas will write and produce the first season, and then "hand it off from there", while remaining executive producer and general overseer throughout the rest of the series. The style of the series will be similar to Lucas' The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles TV series."

This can NOT be good.

This has been around for a while without any news. It will get made eventually but no time soon, I suspect. The idea was revealed around the same time we heard about the Clone Wars series. At least that one's being made.

Until then, the CW series is excellent. If they can do a live action with as much verve, I'll be happy. The SW universe really lends itself to episodic adventures (I love many of the comics, for instance). But it's been in the works forever with no real news. It's the EFX Obi-Wan Xtreme of television shows.
