List of All the Key Props in Movies.

Hi,
one of my favorite thing to collect are keys. What are some of the keys used in famous movies. Bring pics! Also list if they've had replicas made of them, if not and there is interest maybe they can be made?

Ill start off with what I know
The key to dead mans chest from pirates of the Caribbean (Anyone got pics of the original prop)

The key to the door from Coraline (It's always bothered me that it has "coraline.com")


Sonic screwdriver doesn't count even though it does open many doors.

Journey to the Far Side of the Sun (Doppelganger) weird car(?) keys.

Ninja's van keys & keychain from Chappie.

Keys & tank keychain from Ant-Man.

Key to unscrew the HAL Logic Memory Center door from 2001.

MUTHUR access key from Alien.

Keys to the Mach 5 from Speed Racer.

Keys to the Planet Express Ship from Futurama.

Safe deposit box key from DaVinci Code(?)

Missile keys from SeaQuest.

Jump key & munitions key from the new Battlestar Galactica.

Nuke key from Andromeda Strain.

Sebastian's Tyrell keycards from Blade Runner.

"Key" to eject the computer parts from inside HAL's core in 2001.

Key / box thing for the Book of the Dead from the Mummy.

This guy. IIRC, someone on here replicated it as well.

Also, Kroenen's 'wind-up' key.

Also: the 'key' to the time machine from The Time Machine (1960).

I collect keys as well, though my own definition is fairly looser (I do include the sonic screwdriver, for example). As for things you put in a lock and turn it, I can add a few to what's been listed here:

Copper Bones from Goonies - Replicas exist, got mine from Relicmaker


Meerschaum Pipe from National Treasure - Replicas exist, also got this from Relicmaker


The key to the Pale Man's room from Pan's Labyrinth - No Replicas exist that I know of


Princess Mombi's Key from Return to Oz - Replicas exist, though mostly not terribly screen accurate. I ended up making this one myself.


William's Prison Keys from the Underworld Series - Replicas exist for the pendant itself, but not for the outer ring that I know of.


Lylesberg's Berzerker key from Nightbreed - I did see one replica, but it was a one-off.



As you can see, I tend to go for the more unusual ones.
And if you're not limiting yourself to movies there are some more from TV, video games, etc. that I'll just list here:

Key to Oz from Supernatural - No replicas exist that I know of
Key to the Men of Letters Bunker from Supernatural - A couple Replicas exist
Key to Hell from Sandman Comics - there are a couple on eBay right now.
The Motel Room Key from The Lost Room - Replica exists. Just got mine recently from Jintosh's website for them.
Medallions from the Mysterious Cities of Gold cartoon - Replica's do exist, just hard to find. I'm currently working on making my own of this one, too.
Voltron Key - The best "working" version I've seen is on the 30th Anniversary diecast set. It actually starts the light show on the base.
All of the Keys from The Room video game series (seriously, there are a lot of them and they're all pretty cool looking)
The two part key from Da Vinci's Demons. - Someone made a replica and posted it here, but they appear to be banned now...

That's about it without copying and pasting my entire list, most of which isn't relevant to what you're looking for.

There are three versions of the TARDIS Key from Doctor Who. One is a standard Yale key. Two are original designs. I got theses images of the original props at www.doctorwhoprops.co.uk. There are ton's of reproductions out there.
