I have a respect for people who translate their costumes into the real world, and for that I applaud you. This is very nice :)

In terms of a critique, I'm curious as to what you would like to hear? If you're going for your 'own take' on Link, then that is pretty hard to do especially if this is your idealized costume...
But in a general sense, I like what you did. The shield looks solid and practical for carrying many of Link's go-to items. (I've never seen that setup for the boomerang before) As well... you problem solved the sheath for the master sword pretty nicely. (Although, be careful with that sword! It is meant to be a wall hanger only! I'm sure you've already noticed how blade-heavy it is)
With the costume, if you're going for the real world feel I would highly recommend doing some kind of light tea-dye on your undergarments... The whites are pretty pristine and it is somewhat distracting/ detracting from the overall feel of your costume.

With the wig, I like the dirty color... but it should probably be longer! Many links I've seen suffer from the "school boy" syndrome from having short bangs on their link wigs. Whenever I have styled my wigs I use something longer... perhaps shoulder length but with the right color and body, and then trim it from there. If you don't want to attempt cutting it, you can always take it to a hairstylist. They are used to cutting wigs :)

But like I said this is a nice real-world translation! You look like you're comfortable and could give/ take a beating without worrying about something falling apart haha.

That said:
If you're going for a specific critique on accuracy between Twilight Princess, or OoT. There's quite a bit I could add but I'd leave that up to you ;)

no, thanks! its all good. i dish it out, so i expect to receive it as well.

well its my take on it, not to mention im right handed. :)

but its TP inspired. gotta get the ears still. the hair i think is abotu right, i just cant figure out how to style the thing. i get it looking right at home to the pics on the bangs, but once i pack it in, it gets tousled. but notice, i am wearing TWO wigs here. the last few are the correct style.

HAHA! true. my wife has that version, but i prefer the cube version. im not to keen on swinging the remote around. i just want the buttons. with the new one coming out, I'm not too excited to be forced to do that.

I tried to do chainmail under the shirt with sequins, but it looks really really good from a distance, but doesn't hold up when you're up close. so gonna have to use the real thing.

:)
I got lucky when I did my version and found an upholstery fabric with a honey-comb pattern that used gold thread and had a black background.
If you can find something like this it's pretty comfortable:
I had made a whole "shirt" out of it for mine... but I think if I were to do it again I'd probably just do the exposed sections + some to keep the weight (and heat) down.
Though I think Ideally I'd make a shirt out of PVC mail, or else have a shirt woven from gold-yarn like they used to do to imitate maille in films.

Tsuyosa, I am still insanely jealous of the fabric you found for your mail shirt, it really actually matches up to the in game representation very well. I will still poke around the upholstery section every time I am in a fabric store looking for something close.

That looks really great. I tried to make a legitimate shield..... jeez, a couple years ago now, and ended up with only this to show for it:

Unfortunately, every other part of it worked against me. I had no way of bending the wood backing, the custom steel work would have been a few hundred dollars, and the gold plating for the triforce never worked out either. Now this thing just sits around taking up space, I can't bring myself to throw it away.
