Hello all. I have a set of t-track grips to put on a lightsaber. but these were taken from another saber and thus the adhesive is kaput. Can anyone point me in right direction for a good adhesive for these grips? (building an ANH graflex from an original)

For my last set, I used Bob Smith Industries IC-2000 glue. Had a little bit of time to work the grip into the exact position and then hit it with a spray of accelerator. They feel solidly attached.

You can also use 5-minute epoxy or some kind of rubber contact cement.

Urethane glue, it's smelly, but after a week or so, the smell is basically gone and the gribs are not going to move from duelling with
not sure what it's called in other parts of the world, it's perfect as the rubber grips are porous and the hilt is not, so the bond is strong
here's a link -- Selleys Urethane Bond

When I did mine used jb weld, the long cure stuff. The grey color blended in very nicely from the end view. I would put a thin line on the grips lay it down, scrape of the excess that squirted out and then lift off the track clean the excess off better with some alcohol and then put the grips down again, repeat a few times until no more glue seeps out the sides. Then I let it solidify for an hour and a half or so, then use guitar cam clamps with cork inserts to tighten down the grips and I use a shaved down toothpick to clean any excess glue. Repeat 6 or 7 times and I was done.
