That would only make sense to have a Lightsaber specific forum if this was a site strictly dedicated only to Star Wars things. Or if it had a Star Wars subcategory or something.
I'm not suggesting the forum be dedicated to lightsabers, only one of the topics. It gets kind of lost when posting and you have to look through many pages because there are too many general posts. You can post something on one day and by the end of the day your post has already gone to the second page.
Maybe the answer is to start a lightsaber specific forum of your own. JC started one once, but quickly got bent out of shape from people stealing images to use elsewhere from his lightsaber site.
Nick started a great blaster forum that is still going strong but blasters transcend Star Wars.
Sounds like too much hassle to navigate to me its a general prop site too many sub catagories is just more link clicking to get to what you want to find.
If there are specific threads you want to keep track of without going through the pages on the prop forum you can subscribe to that thread.
From a personal view when i look on the forum i just take a look down the list and if i see something of interest i read it if i have to look through a dozen sub catagories on the off chance there is something that will be of interest it would be annoying.
