I came across the following seller of light sabres the other day - has anyone had dealing with him - his light sabres lok very good.

Oh I saw this guy's sabers on RebelScum's msgboard..

Not terribly accurate sabers, but it looks like pretty good workmanship.
For one saber, instead of buying a $3 LED bar, he milled the individual bars from metal... :lol

Argeed. The paint and metal he uses looks off from the actual colors...

I haven't dealt with him, but his feedback on ebay looks pretty darn good.

Hi all

I have also seen his stuff on ebay, and as mentioned, while his work is good, he doesn't pay that extra bit of attension to finer detail and saber finish. (He has some shiney when they should be matt.)

On the up side, if your as picky as me, those bits you could alter yourself to make it screen acurate if you wanted.

Interesting, but how long can it be before the "powers-that-be" shut him down? A little high profile, isn't it?

Apart from the obvious inaccuracies, his take on the Obi ANH/ROTS/Luke ROTJ pommel is novel. Instead of machining the "cubes" flat (square?), there's just a circular area machined out to define the details. Not accurate, but great for a custom piece.

They look kind of stuntish...and a little too thin...Interesting though.
I wouldn't mind one for a variation.
*In looking further Im noticing that , well take the Mara Jade for example...
They're doing all then details and putting in the work,
but I think they're using too thin of a width of stock.
So the emitters never quite expand out enough.*

I like his Jedi Luke though...not exactly accurate, but I like it.

I'm noting also from his home page that hes upgrading for accuracy...so I guess someone somewhere has informed him.

Well one of the biggest plusses for me is that he is UK based.
No int'l shipping. No customs charges.

I think they look fantastic for the price and the time the maker has been working on them. I don't need all the details to be spot on. He does appear to be adapting them as he gets more info.

I have sent an e-mail and will see how it goes.

I have one of the TK sabers and it was just like the one in the picture in the ad. Nice piece :thumbsup
