:lol:lol:lol:lol:lol

Does this masterpiece perhaps make you think about commissioning an Indy bust, Chris?

I think we can leave that character to Howard, as he is working on a fantastic version of Indiana Jones, I am really exited.

Nicholas, I would like to see more of your great work:rolleyes

Once again thank you very much guys, you are all very nice.About other artists my opinion is that every artist has a different view on the same thing. That doasent mean that in 2 different sculpts of the same subject that the one is wrong and the other right,i feel my crerations like my children and i think every artist does.So its good to hear nice things for your work and very hellpfull for the next project:thumbsup
I dont have any painted head yet but i hope to have soon and show it to you.I prefer silicone for this kind of sculptures but in this case a resin was asked because its more (durable)material:cool
About Routh
I have many many projects that i want to do(with God's will),and i hope to find clients to order me some of them :rolleyesbecause i run my studio alone and a lot of expenses doasent let me to do what i like or want,so im mostly work on other people's likes:cry who became my likes after:)
Sculpting a portrait its deeper than just the likeness, many times you have to get noticing peoples characters to achieve not only likeness outside but the likeness to come from inside the sculpt and this is all this essence of breathtaking!

Nikolas

Awesome Purely Awesome. I'm a HUGE and I mean HUGE superman fan and this takes the cake. I would love to own a piece like this. *wink wink*
Many have said it before me but as a fellow artist I know it's good to keep hearing compliments. Again, Fantastic work.:thumbsup

This is one of the most amazing likeness i've ever seen. Be proud, Nikolas. Fantastic Art Direction, Chris.:thumbsup

Hey Nikolas,

This piece gives me chills.

I used to work for the Hollywood Wax Museum, and I've made a few heads in my day, but damn boy, that is the BEST Chris Reeve I've ever seen.

He was on my list to sculpt, but now I think I'll just wait till you start offering these up for sale.

Bravo!

Steve

Hey Nikolas

I got my Christopher Reeve bust today, and I am just stunned:eek
What an outstanding likness, it´s creepy.
It doesn´t matter wich angle I look at it, it´s him.:love

You have done a wonderful job Nikolas, and I hope to see some new busts from you very soon.:thumbsup

I`d love to see an Indy by this guy - even if there are other Indys coming up.
I feel the same. Both Nokolas and Howard have amazing talent and I think it would be cool to see different busts with different expressions from two different talented artists.

Nikolas, do you have any other sculpts that you've done that you can share with us? Start another thread, maybe?

That is some incredible work! Will the rest of us ever be able to own one? Please post more of your sculpts Nikolas.

I am a newbie starting a Christopher Reeve Superman Lifesize, man when I saw your work Nikolas I was at loss for words, breathtaking. Can I buy one? Pleaseeeee.

Hey Bjorn,

I'm really happy to hear that yours arrived and that you like it. Even now, I still can't believe just how well Nikolas managed to capture the likeness from every possible angle. It's pretty rare for a sculpt like this to be so good no matter which way you turn it. I look forward to seeing your paintjob / display!

Glad everyone likes this piece so much!
Any questions, please send me a PM.

Thanks!

Chris
