Licensed "V" pistol

Is this old news?

In their latest newsletter, Monsters in Motion says they have a licensed pistol for sale...?

I think I've watermarked 0.01% of the images on the Original Prop Blog - funny the photo that they are using is one of those images.

That is a photo of my original V pistol used on the show... (not a replica)

Just to clarify, I don't have anything to do with the manufacture of any licensed or unlicensed replicas.

if they are selling the one showed on the picture, that's the undersized toy replica

Skyit, I would take coolmodels off that list of ebay sellers.

I would also take Katarra8 off that list as well. She has been known to not fullfil orders, and when she does quality tends to be inconsistent.

I think Jason said it is his photo of the original prop (You can even see the bad cut and paste of the rug background to hide the watermark). I also think the original Macross(1982) toy was used to make the V TV series(1984) guns. I Know Robotech came out in 1985, but the toys were probably made for the Japanese original show first.

Andy,

After several e-mail exchanges over many days, I was eventually successful in having them remove my photo depicting my original prop from their website for use in promoting their replica. So the current photo is not of my piece.

Thanks,

i don't think so. Actually there are 4 versions of the pistol, 2 from mini serie and 2 from the serie. They all look different and bigger than toy robotech version.

those pictures were posted on thevisitors.com forum some time ago

the mini-serie versions

the serie versions

a comparison with the robotech toy
